Week 6...

So we are in the middle of yet another East Coast Low and must be heading towards another 100mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Feels like it has done nothing but rain since the day we started, I guess that's just how it is when you start building in the middle of winter.

Anyway at least there is still some progress, the footings have been dug and plastic and reo laid in preparation for the slab we should be getting on Friday (fingers crossed).

It's slowly starting to get easier to visualize now that there is a clear outline. And here's hoping that all that black plastic stops the perfect little sandcastles from being washed away.

Next step - we're off to Bairnsdale next week to meet with BK Kitchens start our cabinetry design. Super excited about this as it's the part I've really been looking forward to. God I hope the budget handles it (eeeek!).

I like the shaker style cabinets with some glass over head cupboards. We also have to decide on what kind of bench tops we want. Defiantly leaning towards marble but we'll see once we can get some prices.
